Crushing & Screening at Onetrak

Onetrak are proud to announce that we have been awarded the exclusive Anaconda Equipment dealership for Australia.

The Anaconda range ties in nicely with our existing product lines and complements our successful Striker Crushing and Screening range.

Anaconda makes a range of trommels, scalping and sizing screens from 14500kg through to 43000kg, feeder conveyors from 10 to 20m long and radial conveyors from 15 to 23m long.

Onetrak sees the Anaconda range being targeted at the contractor and smaller quarry market and Striker at the larger Quarry and Mining market.

Anaconda Equipment provide a host of options including specialised mesh selections, tipping grids, vibrating grids, rinser kits, magnets and very fuel-efficient engines.

Conexpo saw the release of the larger DF518 Scalping Screen (18×5) and on close inspection you can see the attention to detail with little things like collars around the clamp bar bolt heads to make changeout easier – something that the guys in the field will appreciate.

The New J-12 jaw crusher and I-12 Impactor were also released and have been designed so that the crusher boxes are interchangeable, offering more versatility for the owner to swap between boxes as demand dictates.

In the coming months there will also be recirc kits offered for the J-12 and I-12 crushers making them even more versatile.

When teamed with Striker, Fuchs material handlers, Tigercat and our Hidromek range, the Anaconda line will allow us to serve our customers better during these difficult times as the push for efficiency becomes even more critical.

The pursuit of the lowest cost per tonne is on to maximise profits for our customers and Onetrak is here to help.

We can offer cost effective solutions by selecting the correct equipment for your application, eliminating bottlenecks and maximising production and uptime.

With branches in every state Onetrak has the service personnel and parts to keep you running.

Statement from Alistair Forsyth, CEO Anaconda Equipment

  • What drove the move to appoint a national distributor in Australia?

Anaconda offers a full line of tracked scalping and incline screens, ranging from the compact 10×4 units, to the ever-popular 14×5 units, up to the recently released 20×5 units. Along with the incline deck screens comes a full line of tracked trommel screens, tracked feeder loaders, and tracked conveyors.  We have been on the worldwide market for 12 years and have almost 1500 machines, in more than 50 countries, across 6 continents sold to date. All equipment is manufactured and distributed from our full-service manufacturing and parts facility in Northern Ireland, UK.  In 2012 we set-up our North American facility to expand the product and brand into North America and invested in a 40,000 sq ft facility in Boston MA to house machinery, spare parts, sales, and technical support for the USA, Canada and South American markets.  We have been very strategic in our growth and not spread ourselves too thin by attacking every country all at once.  Our strategy is simply – we offer quality robust cost-effective materials handling solutions that we fully support and backup.

2020 marks the 8th year that Anaconda has been in the Australian market and over that time we have placed almost 400 machines in the country predominantly on the East Coast.  In the early years of the Anaconda product line growth the distributors within Australia we aligned with were regional and carried multiple other screening and conveying lines along with the Anaconda product.  As we round off the Anaconda screening and conveying line with the introduction of a crushing line it was important for us to look for a national distributor that could carry the complete line of Anaconda products nationally as a primary offering in their aggregate equipment division.

  • What were the key reasons for selecting Onetrak as the national dealer for Anaconda Equipment in Australia?

Onetrak shares multiple synergies with Anaconda and this is what lead us to discussing the prospects of working together in the first place. They are a dynamic and aggressive young family owned company with a core emphasis on support and service for their customers.  Seven bricks and mortar equipment and parts stocking facilities in six states along with 40 field service technicians and 100 staff members, made them the perfect partner to discuss a national distribution agreement with Anaconda.

The complimentary line of construction, forestry and materials handling equipment already offered by Onetrak, along with the appointment of a dedicated Crushing and Screening Product Manager, Jason MacDonald, allowed the Anaconda line to easily be integrated into their offering and we are confident this will be a mutually beneficial partnership for both companies that will ultimately bring great things for the Australian customers.

  • What’s in store for Anaconda Equipment in 2020?

As we enter 2020 we rounded off the Screening line with the DF518 Scalping Screen along with making Anacondas introduction to the tracked crushing market with the launch of the J12 Jaw Crusher and I12 Impact Crusher at the 2020 ConExpo in Las Vegas this March.

DF518 Scalping Screen

The DF518 Tracked Scalping Screen is the latest and largest scalping screen offering to be launched by Anaconda.  It is available in Apron Feed or Belt Feed models and comes with a generic 18ft (5.5mtr) x 5ft (1.5mtr) top and bottom deck screen giving the operator a full 90 Square Ft (8.25 Square Mtrs) of screening area on the top and bottom deck.  The Screen also comes with a full 8″ (200mm) passing clearance between the underside of the screen center tube and the bottom deck screen allowing for primary splits to occur on the top and bottom decks.  Both the Mid-Size Product Conveyor and Fines Product Conveyor are overhead folding channel frame heavy duty designs, both complete with 42″ (1050mm) heavy duty belts to achieve maximum tonnage capacities regardless of the material percentage splitting from the screenbox. This heavy-duty scalping screen rounds off the Anaconda range of small, medium and large scalping screens and is perfect as a stand-alone primary screen or paired with the new Anaconda Tracked Jaw and Impactor line.

J12 Jaw Crusher and I12 Impact Crusher

This year Anaconda steps firmly into the tracked crushing equipment arena with the launch of the J12 Jaw Crusher and the I12 Impact Crusher. The generic tracked chassis is Cummins engine powered and comes as standard with a 14ft (4.3mtr) variable speed vibrating grizzly feeder, hydraulic hopper wing extensions, an overband magnet, and side discharge dirt belt.  This generic chassis allows for the placement of either crushing chamber giving the dealer immense flexibility in his rental fleet and the ability to reduce  inventory cost, whilst increasing his fleet utilization by allowing him the versatility of converting the machine from a Jaw to an Impactor and vice versa in minimal time.  The benefit of Anaconda joining the McLanahan family of companies earlier last year means that both units come with Universal Crusher chambers as standard. With over 7000 Jaw chambers, and 1500 Impact chambers placed worldwide over the last 130 years, these chambers are household names in the crushing industry and help give further credibility to the dealer when introducing this line to their customers.

The J12 Tracked Jaw Crusher is fitted with a 44” (1100mm) x 26” (700mm) direct hydraulic drive Universal Crusher Jaw Chamber. The chamber comes with full hydraulic adjustment and hydraulic tramp release and reset as standard. The direct hydraulic drive means the unit can also be run in reverse to satisfy a multitude of customer applications. Whilst the I12 Tracked Impact Crusher is fitted with a fabricated 43” (1090mm) diameter 4 bar rotor on a 45” (1140mm) wide Universal Crusher Impact Chamber. Large access doors on the side, back, and top of the chamber, hydraulic opening upper section of the housing for easy and safe access, along with two independent gravity hung impact curtains that can be individually adjusted from the exterior of the chamber makeup just some of the features on this chamber.

The next 3 years will see a number of tracked crushing plants introductions as we expand the Anaconda product offering further.
