Unreserved auctions draw the crowds

Euro Auctions, the record-breaking international auctioneers of industrial plant, construction and agricultural machinery, had its last physical sale of the year on 14th November, and is already receiving consignments for the next sale, being an online ‘timed auction’ to be held on 9th January 2020.

The hammer total for the November 14th Auction reached $4.33 million seeing more online activity than in previous sales, with returning buyers reassured that the quality of the lots for sale by Euro Auctions are good, prices are true to market value, and all equipment has been approved by the Euro Auctions team.

The reoccurring statistic is that first time bidder registrations have been increasing sale on sale with first time bidders up 70% on the same sale in 2018. With the Euro Auctions on-line ‘bidding platform’ bidding and buying online is easy, showing a constant increase in bidders.

Buyers at the November sale were predominantly from the home market, with Queenslanders showing in force proving they like a sale, with 75% of all bidders being from Queensland, and 65% of all buyers being Queenslanders. However, there was an international flavour from the bidders, with buyers from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, the Far East and Asia, such is the international reach of Euro Auctions marketing and customer base.

Consign NOW for our next sale

On 9th January Euro Auctions holds its next auction in Australia, which will be an online ‘timed auction’. With Consignors wishing to turn metal into cash for the New Year, this sale is already taking on kit and equipment and with no restriction on space, is looking like the year will start with a bang.

Craig Hart, Territory Manager for Queensland comments, “Our one-day online sales are always very popular, meaning consignors either located in remote areas or with particularly big pieces of kit can reach out to customers who in turn don’t need to travel to a specific location to participate in the auction process.”

“We are seeing significant growth in bidder participation in all our auctions and the increased demand for new equipment is helping drive auction activity in the used equipment sector. We expect to see many consignors allocate quality used equipment to both these auctions over coming weeks, releasing quality used equipment back into the market to meet the strong demand for it.” Concludes Craig Hart.

UNRESERVED – when the hammer is down, its sold!

The demand for quality used equipment in Australia is on the increase, which means we can satisfy sellers and deliver what buyers really want. All Euro Auctions sales are unreserved, and everything IS SOLD on the day to the highest bidder. Our buyers know they can get the equipment they want without having to worry about if the item will sell or not. If they are the highest bidder, its sold and that bidder takes it home.
